TEKRELM STUDIOS TERMS OF SERVICE

By requesting a commission, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to follow the below terms of service. These terms may be subject to change without notice.


  1. THE ARTIST’S STANDARDS


The following genres will not be accepted:

  • NSFW content

  • Gore

  • Mecha

  • Political content


The art will be solely drawn in the artist's style.


The artist reserves the right to refuse service for any reason.


  1. CONTACT

The artist is contactable via direct messaging on twitter (@TekrelmArt) or via email (tekrelm@gmail.com). The artist will not accept any other forms of messaging.


  1. REQUEST QUEUE

Requests will be taken on a first come, first serve basis.


Should the client need the commission urgently, there will be a rush fee up to 50% depending on the deadline.


  1. COMMISSIONER’S REQUEST

It is strongly encouraged that written descriptions be accompanied with visual references (e.g picture collages, Pinterest boards). Should the artist request for more clarifications, they will contact the client.


Unusually complex requests will be charged a higher price.


If in the case the client requests artwork of a character they do not own, work will be postponed until the client provides proof that the owner of the character permits it.


  1. PAYMENT

Payment only through PayPal. Prices are set in USD. An invoice will be sent once the artist starts working on the commission. Payment must be paid in full before commencement of commission.


  1. PROCESS

Once work begins, the artist will provide a rough sketch for the client's approval. The client can make changes to the pose and composition at this point, and additional sketches will be sent to reflect the changes. Once the approval is given, work will begin in earnest and no further changes can be made without additional fees.


  1. CANCELING/REFUNDING POLICY

The artist reserves the right to cancel the commission and/or refund a commission at any time.


Depending on circumstances, the client may or may not receive the piece ( incomplete or not ), and may or may not retain any usage rights whatsoever.


There will be NO REFUNDS for completed work.


If the client files a chargeback against the artist, they will lose all rights of all the pieces the artist made for them, the artist will have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers (in the case of, for example, character design sheets). The client will be blacklisted, and details of the incident may be posted to social media.


  1. COPYRIGHT/USAGE POLICY

As the artist who produced the artwork, I have full rights to the piece—NOT the client. This allows me to promote myself with it anywhere.


The client may use the artwork for their own personal use, but may not sell it. Clients can claim the rights to their character(s), but not the commissioned artwork itself. The client may use it to promote themselves as long as they give proper credit to the artist.


If the client wishes to make a private commission (to not be posted publicly), there will be an additional 50% fee. This artwork will not be able to be posted anywhere public by the either the artist or the client.


It is considered copyright infringement if the client was to reproduce or use the copyrighted artwork commercially, take credit for making the art piece, remove a watermark/signature of the artists, or alter the art piece in any way without the artist’s permission.


  1. COMMERCIAL COMMISSIONS

The rights for a purchase of commercial rights to the artwork will be 300% to the original price. The client may sell the art piece however you wish, as well as alter it and promote he client's own brand. Credit is still due to the artist for usage of the artwork no matter how the client alters it.


  1. NFT

The client is not allowed to turn the commissioned art into cryptoart of any kind, or they forfeit their rights to the artwork.
